Radio Chitwan 94.6 MHz is the first community radio of Chitwan district, operated by Chitwan Community communication Co–operative organization ltd. (Shree Chitwan Samudaik Sanchar Sahakari Sanstha Ltd.) Ratnanagar which is founded by nearly one thousand reputed personalities (shareholders) of Chitwan district. Since, its test transmission in Chaitra 06,2064 BS and regular transmission from 1st Jestha,2065 BS , Now Radio Chitwan has been broadcasting its radio programmes and news for 18 hours a day regularly.
