Kiss FM is a best English Dance community radio station of SriLanka, that is so much popular all over the country, It broadcasts their live On-Air programs in 89.8 also available listeners in the hill capital Kandy via the 96.9 Frequency since the year 2011, It was launched 26 June 2009, Owned by Kiss Network Lanka, Format Rhythmic CHR, Their DJ,s work hard to provide the real entertainment to its listeners, The target audience includes both male and female aspiring for information for socioeconomic development, it has acquired large listener-ship leading to loyalty.
Kiss 898 started test transmissions in July 2009. The station was officially launched on 13 August 2009. The popular rhythmic CHR station broadcast a mix of dance, progressive house, electro, tribal, hip hop and R&B to audiences in Colombo. By 2012 the station had become one of the country’s top five media brands.
On 1 November 2012 the station’s frequency changed from 89.8MHz to 96.9MHz after a nationwide change of all radio frequencies. The station launched its website, official Facebook page and Twitter account on 11 October 2013. Kiss FM was an exclusive broadcaster for the ICC T20 Cricket World Cup 2014.
